I remember going in and telling her that I was only going to take the business component of the course and she then proceeded to tell me why that was not a good idea. What she said made a lot of sense and really as a Registered Nurse how difficult could a program like this be?!? I was soon to discover that estheticians were a group of people who deserved to be respected. The course was much more in-depth and covered a much broader spectrum of information than I had ever imagined! However, the course was taught by teachers who really seemed to care that you were learning and understanding and not just memorizing and the level of support that was offered by everyone at the school was incredible. You only had to mention interest in learning about something or seeing something different than was in the curriculum and the teachers found a way to make it happen. The guest speakers that were brought in to talk with us gave us a real advantage by allowing us to make contacts within our industry which is very important when you graduate! You are given plenty of hours of practical experience so that when you go out in the field it is not the first time you ever face your first real client and that is important because you need to know how to conduct yourself in a professional manner. Even after graduation the continued support has been wonderful. You are never made to feel like you can’t contact the teachers with a question or a problem or even just to say hello and compare notes. Overall, this is an excellent course and I would recommend it highly to anyone who is looking to become the best esthetician in the field today!
